6th Grade. Get Ch 3 Test signed. : Began Ch 4 workbook pages today in class. They are due Wednesday, Sept 8th. Please encourage your child to use the assignment book in order to keep up with assignments and due dates signed items.
The class will begin our unit on Egypt. We are going to complete a few Egyptian art projects. I will be collecting $5 for half of the cost of the projects. Thank you in advance for your help.

***I cannot stress enough the importance of reviewing notes for 10 minutes per day.. ***

7th grade Social Studies.... Continued writing Christopher Columbus essay today. WE worked on filling in blanks together.

.8th. Social Studies. . . . Ch 10 worksheets given 9/2. They will be due on Tuesdayl. We will have the candy skyscraper project in a week or so....Please start thinking about what candies and materials to be used. We discussed this in great length and detail today.....(Foam board, florist foam, orange juice cartons.. no chocolate, please......) (75% of this will be completed in class. A grade will be given for that portion. The student may take the project home and complete the remaining 25%...The grade on the 25% will be appropriately averaged with the 75%. )
**Students must turn in Ch 9 Quiz by tomorrow. They have had three days.

8th English Grammar Test Review. Making nouns plural....singular possessives and plural possessives.

7th English Grammar...Test Review. To cover making nouns plural ......singular possessives and
plural possessives.

8th Spanish... Get Spanish Quiz signed.. Reviewed...Test on Tuesday.

7th Spanish.. Reviewed Spanish classes and items in a class today. We also
reviewed colors. Test will be next Thursday.

We will try to have 8th tutoring during lunch on Wednesdays and Wed at 2:45-3:15.

We will try to have 6th tutoring during lunch on Mondays after school at 2:45 -3:15.

***I am collecting toilet paper rolls and paper towel rolls.....please help!!!****
